2014

We are teaching C.H.E.S.S. in four different schools, starting a pilot after-school program at a library in the fall, planning a tournament and field trip for our students to visit the LARGEST C.H.E.S.S. collection in the WORLD and this is only the beginning of our L.I.F.E. coaching sessions.  Our goal is to reach and affect "One Million Children".

The future success of our children is in our hands and because C.H.E.S.S. represents the domain in which expert performance has been studied and measured intensively, it is significant in cognitive psychology and artificial intelligence (AI) studies.

Benjamin Franklin was more than just an author, scientist, inventor and one of the Founding Fathers.  He LOVED to play chess, was recognized as one of the earliest players of the game, was the author of the first piece of writing on chess published in America (an essay for The Columbian Magazine about chess in 1786 entitled The Morals of Chess) and was a very strong proponent of chess being "useful in the course of human life".

We believe C.H.E.S.S. I.S. L.I.F.E.  "Benjamin Franklin regarded chess as more than just an idle amusement, ascribing several “valuable” qualities of the mind, useful in the course of human life, that are to be acquired or strengthened by it, so as to become habits, ready for all occasions.  For Life is a kind of Chess…” (Franklin, 1776).  One of our Founding Fathers agrees with our philosophy and we only ask that you give us the opportunity to make you believers as well.

Contact us and we promise you won't be disappointed with the results.
